May 29, 2012--

Happy Tail's Bear of Highborn CGC/TGI CD "Bear" was bred to Happy Tail’s Diamond’s R A Grl’s Best Friend "Laila".

This litter was whelped at Happy Tail's Ranch in Island Lake, Illinois.......

There were 2 puppies born to this litter, 1 flashy fawn girl and 1 classic fawn girl.

September 29, 2008 -- I am on cloud nine with Bear's completion of his CD title ...After being on "vacation" for 4 years, I truly thought this task was no longer attainable. After healing and adjusting after my accident and only thru the encouragement of my husband, Rich, and Amy Bieri did we even go out there and try! Then to compete and complete this task in just 3 out of 4 trials, was a goal we had trained so hard for, and did not have the chance when he was 2 years old. I am so PROUD of this boy of mine......

September 28, 2008 -- Bear received his 3rd leg for his CD today at the Rockford-Freeport Show in Rockford, Illinois, under Judge; Mr. Kent H. Delaney ...Bear had a qualifying score of 185 in Novice B. This is such a wonderful achievement for a boy so deserving, especially completing this task in just 3 out of 4 trials!

Bear at 6 years old / Tree Towns Boxer Obedience Trial!

August 2, 2008 -- After being on a sabbatical for 4 years, due to my accident, Bear earned his 1st leg for his CD today at the Tree Towns Boxer Club Obedience Trial in Ringwood, Illinois, under Judge; Mr. Fred Buroff ... Bear had a qualifying score of 182.5 for a 3rd place in Novice B. What a great start for his first time competing...

Bear's Beginnings!

Bear at 9 weeks old.

November 6, 2002 -- Bear started showing at 6 months in Conformation and did very well as a puppy winning most of his puppy classes, with very positive judges comments... He spent a few months in the conformation ring and then we decided to give him a break while he matured. During Bear's break we concentrated on Obedience classes, which he passed with flying colors. We are now working towards his CD and will soon be out there competing. Bear is such a sweet dog, he loves to hang out and play with "mom" and his girls, but most of all his "true" buddy Jason...
